Attractions & Amusements in Myrtle Beach

Freestyle Music Park -- which was purchased during bankruptcy procedings of Hard Rock Park -- closed early its first season, and isn't expected to reopen ever again.

One has to wonder if there will ever be a successful themed, high-priced entrance, amusement park in Myrtle Beach.

We think not.

Especially since the beach is tons of fun, and is FREE.

North Myrtle Beach

There is a buzz going on about the smaller amusement park in the Ocean Drive section of North Myrtle Beach. It is located on the ocean near the horseshoe, and owners are determined to have the locals and visitors come by not charging admission. We checked it out last year when it did a trial run in the Fall and loved it.
